Over 3,500 middle and high school students and teachers attended the first STAND UP New Hampshire event on November 15,2013. The 3.5 hour-long program was emceed by Jadd Naamani from Z107 FM. The day featured inspirational speaker and author Lizzie Velasquez and Miss New Hampshire 2011 Regan Hartley.
Several students from all across New Hampshire participated in the Town Hall Meeting that was facilitated by Jeff Frigon from the Browne Center for Innovative Learning. The day-long event featured a performance by the Ballads VS. Bullying Song Contest winning school from Hillsboro-Deering High School and the presentation of three STAND UP Awards to Merrimack High School (Merrimack, NH), the Strafford School (Strafford, NH) and the Portsmouth High School Friends of Rachel Club (Portsmouth, NH).
