STAND UP TO BULLYING NEW HAMPSHIRE!
On Friday, November 15, 2013, over 3,500 middle and high school students and teachers attended the first STAND UP New Hampshire event at the Whittemore Center Arena on the University of New Hampshire's Durham campus. The event was a one-day program to take a stand against all forms of bullying. During the day, students discussed the issue in a town meeting, heard from inspirational speakers, and caucused to exchange ideas and discuss action plans for their schools. This rally was a call to action for students to take a stand against bullying!

TAS-14 is a Free, elite two-hour program that will involve only 250 middle- and high-school students and teachers and engage them in breakout sessions of groups of 25, each facilitated by experts from the Browne Center for Innovative Learning and Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC) of Bridgewater State University.
Participants will receive a program certificate that certifies them to be "trained as peer leaders in bullying prevention." Certificated will be issued by: MARC, The University of Ne Hampshire's Browne Center for Innovative Learning and STAND UP.
TAS-14 is designed to educate, train and engage student leaders to spearhead bullying prevention efforts at their school and will enable student leaders to:
- Identify challenges within their schools
- Exchange ideas and approached for dealing with bullying
- Create and share student lead programming & strategies with their peers
We are looking for teams of up to four students that possess leadership qualities and represent diverse groups and interests. Each team will require a teacher to also participate. Schools may register up to three teams to attend.
Space is limited (only 25 teams of up to five can participate in each of the the Summit sessions).
